SEO is fully know as Search Engine Optimization. This is the foremost process used for promoting an online business. The idea of SEO is to structure your website to be friendly to the search engines, so that it is easily accessible and indexed by the search engines. A well optimized website will easily help a marketer promote he’s goods and services on the Internet. The sole idea, is to make you site relevant by providing rich keyword content that a would be customer can easily access.
In today’s online world, SEO seems to be the talk of every Internet marketer. The issue a lot of Internet marketers are talking about today is how to get their website relevant enough to get to the first two pages of the search engines, since most Internet surfers will normally not click passed the first two pages. I taught that meta tags had little or no importance when it had to do with SEO. I was so wrong. One of the basic building blocks of SEO is the use of meta tags. Description Tag: In this tag, you will normally enter your sales text. The search engines uses these sales text to draw surfers into your site. For example, if you were a watch repairer, you would put something like, ” DBA Best Watch Repairer in the Universe is devoted to repairing all kinds of …..”. You sales text must be optimized and well written to draw people to your site.
Keyword Tag: Though the keyword tags has no benefit in regards to SEO, it is equally as important to you as a website owner. Using the keyword tag will enable you keep track of all the keywords you want in a particular page.
Robots tag: The main job of the robot tag is to give the search engines directives on how to index your site. You can either choose to have the search engine “index” or “no index” on your website pages. Using the meta tags in the right order will greatly increase your SEO effectiveness.
